Teaching

I am convinced that higher education should not only equip students with the critical thinking, analytical skills, and subject matter expertise necessary to succeed in their chosen professions but should also foster a deep-seated commitment to ethics and justice. These are my goals in teaching undergraduate and graduate students.

I’ve learned to adapt my teaching to the unique characteristics of the students. I am not afraid to challenge my students while scaffolding their intellectual, academic, and emotional development.
